Future-in-the-Past

Если главное предложение стоит в прошедшем времени, то в придаточном дополнительном вместо будущего времени должны употреблять соответствующие будущие-в-прошедшем времена.

If the verb in the main clause is in the past tense, the verb in the object subordinate clause should also be used in Future-in-the-Past.
