Exercise 1

Put the verb "to be" into the simple present or the simple past:

1. I (to be) an engineer.
2. Last year I (to be) a student in Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

4. Now, I live in New York and I (to be) married to her.

Exercise 2

Put the verbs into the correct tense (simple present or present progressive):

1. Look! Sara (to go) to the movies.
2. On her right hand, Sara (to carry) her handbag.
3. The handbag (to be) very beautiful.
4. Sara usually (to put) on black shoes but now she (to wear) white trainers.
5. And look, she (to take) an umbrella because it (to rain).

Put the verbs into the correct tense (Simple Past or Past Progressive):

Put the verbs into the correct tense (simple past or present perfect):
